First Nations activists and allies called for an independent investigation into all deaths in custody, the prosecution of killer cops, the abolition of youth prisons and funding for self-determining organisations.

Led by Walpiri Elder Ned Jampijinpa Hargraves, the call to march on 18 June holds historical significance, as the date marks 15 years since the NT Intervention was introduced by the Howard government in 2007.
