The University acknowledged that its “revenue is higher than expected,” reflecting its $106.6 million operating surplus in 2020.

The ten universities’ total spending on redundancies surpassed the $286.6 million decline in revenue from international students last year.

The decision comes in response to the expected revenue downfall in 2021.
