A 22 year old man was treated for injuries at the scene, and remains in a serious but stable condition at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital according to NSW Police.
In an email to students, Vice-Chancellor Mark Scott stated that the injured man is a University of Sydney student.
“There is no ongoing risk to the community,” said NSW Police, and “neither person is believed to be known to one another.”
