Police patrolled Fisher and Freehills Law Library on Thursday night, 29th May.
A witness told Honi that they “saw someone leaving [Fisher library] suspiciously,” and identified campus security trying to track the person down.
According to a University of Sydney spokesperson, “Some instances of theft have been reported in this part of the University’s campus.
“Following a further report last night, Protective Services immediately notified police and worked closely with them to identify offenders.
“The University’s uniformed Protective Services Officers are also on site 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, year-round and they regularly patrol the buildings and grounds.”
Honi will keep you updated on any new information.
