In the best interests of students, the Business School is being increasingly pressured to re-consider the four mandatory subjects, culling BUSS1000 and 2000 whilst only making BUSS1020 and 1030 mandatory for students undertaking Accounting, Finance, and Banking majors.

The USyd Business School has stopped using the data intensive assessment program Cadmus after a decision made by the eTools committee in Semester 2 last year.
After the perceived success of the pilot program, the Business School wants to continue their use of Cadmus in the units currently using it. This is despite the extensive nature of Cadmus’ data collection and the concerns raised by Perkins and others in the eTools subcommittee.
